Watercolour With Peter David Scott
Learn the first principles of working with watercolour in this 6-week course by award-winning artist, Peter David Scott. Each week, there will be a set subject and you will explore various techniques taught by your tutor, Peter. Peter will complete staged demonstrations which you can follow. The subject will be chosen to introduce a specific set of skills in the medium and will be tailored to be achievable within the 2-hour class. The colours used will be limited to about 10, which will allow you to become familiar with their properties and Peter will advise on the use of various kinds of brushes, paper and mixing media. During the class, there will be one to one advice given to each student about their work and time will be taken to answer individual queries which will encourage group discussions. After the six weeks, you should have grasped the basic principles of watercolour and hopefully have a desire to take your studies of the medium further.
